Partner and Chief Creative Officer at CP+B Brazil for the past 11 years, André Kassu is one of the most recognized names in Brazilian advertising. In 2024, he was honored with the Caboré Award as Creative Professional, the most prestigious individual award in Brazil’s communications industry. He has also been a columnist for Meio & Mensagem, Brazil’s leading marketing and media publication —for more than a decade.
Throughout his career, he has earned some of the industry’s most relevant international recognitions, including 43 Cannes Lion, among them a Grand Prix, as well as Golds at the Clio Awards, a Grand Prix at El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Yellow Pencils at D&AD, and honors at The One Show.
Under his leadership, CP+B partners with brands such as 99 (part of Chinese giant DiDi, in ride-hailing, digital wallet, and food delivery), JBS (global food company), Lenovo and Motorola (technology), McCain (frozen foods), and Zeekr (premium EVs from Geely Holding Group).
Outside the boardroom, Kassu finds inspiration in the things that fuel his essence: music (including live performances and harmonica solos), surfing, family, and his dogs. After all, creativity can’t thrive on meetings and industry references alone-great ideas are also sparked when we connect with different perspectives.
