Luiz Sanches is one of the most awarded and influential creative leaders in global advertising, with more than 30 years of industry experience. He spent over two decades at AlmapBBDO, serving as Chief Creative Officer and later Chairman, and helped lead the agency to historic international recognition, including Cannes Lions Agency of the Decade in 2020.
Sanches has earned hundreds of Cannes Lions Awards and multiple Grands Prix across major global festivals. Before joining Kimberly-Clark, he served as North America Chief Creative Officer at BBDO, strengthening the network’s creative performance across the region.
In January 2025, Sanches joined Kimberly-Clark as Global Chief Creative & Design Officer, where he is redefining client-side creative leadership. In his first year, the company earned 11 Cannes Lions Awards, reflecting his commitment to placing creativity at the centre of global brand growth and innovation for products reaching one-quarter of the planet daily.
A lo largo de su carrera, ha obtenido 191 Leones en Cannes, 71 Pencils en D&AD y 137 premios en One Show, convirtiéndose en el creativo brasileño más premiado. Ha sido reconocido como el mejor director creativo por Gunn Report y Cannes Lions, y en 2022 ingresó al Hall of Fame de FIAP. También ha sido jurado en Cannes Lions en seis ocasiones, dos de ellas como presidente.
